looking back

Looking back at times is not a bad thing. But staring too long at it is bad though. On sun, when i had my sharing session with aunt Rinda, she shared with me this analogy:
When one drives, we look @the rear mirror once in a while (every 5-10seconds in fact) however, if we stare for too long (like all the time or something), and not looking in front, we will get into an ACCIDENT!

Why is looking back good then?
I guess it just allows us to count our blessings. Yesterday, when i was in the train, i was just staring at sch students talking. One pair of boys were talking about gals. As i thought back, my bunch of gal friends seldom talk about guys. Wierd but true. Haha.. I thank God for that. 'Cause now i'm stuck on Zec and Zec only (unless God says otherwise) and not looking around for other better boats to hopped onto. He has 'protected' me in a sense.

Also i saw a bunch of gals talking. They seem to be quite pissed of with each other, saying quite mean words to each other. The gals i was with esp. my sec. sch bunch, we hardly quarrel. I don't even remember us quarreling!! Did we?? Haha.. It's like God just blessed me with such a WONDERFUL bunch of people!!

I really thank God for this life, at times things may seem messed up (like my family for example), but it's through this that blessings prevails (like me able to come to know Christ!). Life is not as bad as you think, STOP and reflect man! God is good!! :)

HOWEVER,
don't look back too long. If not,you will try to find fault with them. Like why didn't God allowed me to be in a BETTER family? Or why did God allow me to leave my previous church(Shelter Baptist Church)? It happened to me. Instead of looking at the rear mirror and front and comprehend and giving thanks, i was bitter with God for quite a long while. It's like leaving Shelter, my comfort zone, it was painful. Why didn't He allow me to stay?? If i look in front, i'll see why. I'm growing deeper in love and in knowledge of Him.

So.. Peeps.. Get what i mean? Look @ the rear mirror occasionally is good but NOT too long yea?? Have a God bless week!!!
